Bailey Leaves Sunderland!

Sunderland AFC today confirmed that reserve team coach Neil Bailey has left the club.

Manager Steve Bruce has brought a number of new coaching staff with him to Sunderland since his arrival, including Eric Black, Nigel Spink and Keith Bertschin.

Chairman Niall Quinn said: "I would like to personally thank Neil for the fantastic job he has done during his time at the club.

"As well as steering the reserves to a league title he stepped in to assist with first team duties under Ricky Sbragia and gave us vital support when the club needed it most.

"I'm sure there will be a huge demand for his experience within the football world and he departs with my very best wishes."

Neil added: "I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Sunderland.

"I've had the pleasure of working with a lot of good young players who I'm looking forward to seeing develop in the future, along with fantastic staff and colleagues.

"Sunderland is a great club, I wish everyone all the best for the future and I am now looking for a new challenge, wherever that may be."

Como era de esperar Baileys abandona el club,está claro que con la llegada de un nuevo manager todo el cuerpo tecnico tiende a ser sustituido por los hombres de confianza de determinado manager,en este caso Bruce.Ya han sido sustituidos Brown y Bailey,esperemos que al menos Kevin Ball continue al mando de los U-18s ya que su trabajo es simplemente esplendido.
