Weymouth Announce New Manager

Weymouth FC have announced that the Club's new manager will be Matty Hale.

Former Terras left back, Hale is taking his first job in management after cutting his coaching teeth as part of the Blue Square South set-up at Team Bath.

Matty will be assisted by Andy Tillson, former Queen's Park Rangers and Bristol Rovers defender who was head coach of Team Bath last season.

Basingstoke Add Two

Blue Square South side Basingstoke Town have announced the signing of Robbie Rice and Matt Finlay.

Rice is a 20 year old right sided defender who came through the youth ranks at League One new boys Wycombe Wanderers before earning himself a professional contract with the Club. He was released by The Chairboys at the end of the 08/09 season.

Finlay is a left sided midfield who has joined Basingstoke on non contract terms from Bashley FC. Former Clubs include AFC Bournemouth and Salisbury City.

Four For Lillywhites

Bromley manager Mark Goldberg has announced a string of new signings.

Rejoining the Lillywhites are Simon Glover and Gareth Williams from Tonbridge Angels and Eastleigh respectively, while Ashley Carew – also formerly of Eastleigh - has committed his future to Hayes Lane.

At the end of last season, Goldberg admitted he would need at least five new players to launch a genuine promotion bid.

Ex-Dagenham & Redbridge man Jacob Erskine has also joined Bromley.

Oliver Returns to Spitfires

Ian Oliver has re-signed for Eastleigh, having spent the last season and a half with Zamaretto League Preier Division outfit Farnborough.

Oliver originally signed for the Spitfires in July 2005 from Swindon Town having previously played for Reading and AFC Bournemouth.

Oliver made eighty-six appearances for Eastleigh in that first spell before moving to Farnborough in October 2007.

He was very keen to return to the Silverlake Stadium and manager Ian Baird sees him as being a very important member of his squad in the season ahead.

Terras Signing Number Eight

Defender Scott Brice has become Weymouth manager Matty Hale's eighth new signing since taking over the Blue Square South club`s helm.

The 22-year-old joins the Terras on a one-year deal from Zamaretto League Division One South & West side Yate Town, who also suffered relegation last season from the Southern Premier Division.

Triple Magpie Swoop

Johnson Hippolyte, manager of Blue Square South club Maidenhead United, has announced three signings in the form of goalkeeper Chris Tardif, midfielder Bradley Quamina and forward Staforde Palmer.

Tardif, 27, returns to York Road from Bognor Regis Town to replace the departed Shane Gore.

Quamina (pictured), 23, joins from Woking and he will help fill the void left by Ben Surey, who has gone travelling, and ex-club captain Ashley Nicholls.

Palmer, 21, was joint top scorer for Hayes & Yeading United last season and joins the Magpies on a three-month loan.

Two More For Iron

Blue Square South club Braintree Town have added two further players to his squad as he prepares for pre-season training.

Twenty-year-old left-back Andrew Howell joins Iron from Ryman League Premier Division side Tooting & Mitcham United.

Last season Howell finished as both Tooting's Supporters` and managers` player of the year, making 40 appearances.

Prior to his spell at Tooting, Howell (pictured) was at Queen's Park Rangers, where he made an appearance in the Football League under manager Ian Holloway.

Also joining the Iron is 23-year-old central midfielder Jacob Mingle from Blue Square Premier side Eastbourne Borough.

The Sussex side paid a fee to Ryman Leaguers Horsham in January for Mingle's signature and he went on to make three appearances in the Conference before the end of last season.

Prior to his spell at Horsham, Mingle enjoyed spells at both Crystal Palace and Charlton Athletic.

-El joven Mike Perrott(20)se a convertido en el tercer fichaje del Bath City tras firmar un contrato que le mantendrá vinculado con el Bath City durante una temporada.

-Jaime Collins a dejado el Havant & Waterlooville(club del cual era capitan) y se a marchado al Hampton & Richmond Borough por una cantidad de dinero que no se a hecho publica.Collins llegó a los Hawks procendente del Watford en Febrero del 2005,desde entonces a participado en 169 ocasiones,en ellas a logrado 16 goles(siete de ellos la ultima temporada)

En la South tengo a mi segundo equipo de Inglaterra, el Dartford FC. Lo sigo desde hace unos pocos años por una tontería pero le he cogido una gran estima. Este año no va mal..... Habrá ascenso?

Connor Essam deja el Dartford FC ya que ha sido reclamado por el club propietario de su ficha, el Gillingham FC. El club de la League Two está sufriendo una plaga de lesiones por lo que ha decidido recuperar al defensa.

Mañana hay partido de FA Trophy contra el Wealdstone. Los Darts ya han alcanzado la 3rd Round! A ver si podemos reeditar la final del 74!
Los operarios del club, en previsión a las bajas temperaturas de esta noche, han colocado unas lonas para evitar que se congele y/o se dañe el césped del Princes Park:

Pues ni con lonas.... partido suspendido. Parece que el duelo se disputará el 7 de febrero, por lo que el partido de liga que teníamos que jugar contra el Eastbourne Borough ese mismo día ha sido aplazado y se le está buscando fecha. No me acaba de hacer este cambio de fechas, la liga es muy importante y estos bailes de fechas no suelen ayudar....

A todo esto hoy había jornada en la Conference South pero casi todos los partidos han sido suspendidos. Solo se han salvado el Chelmsford - Weston y el Staines - Welling.
